No money, no talk

(on Tuesday, 6th July)
Mr Pang announced that the choir might be going to Prague. Our purpose of visit is still unknown but I am definitely looking forward to it. The cost of the trip is $1900. In order to try to save up as much as possible for this trip, the ‘hiao’ gang have come up with some plans…

*praying really hard for this trip to happen

(today)
Today marks the start to our next few weekly (Fridays) ‘hiao hiao’ lunch get-togethers. The purpose for this act is clear: to save money for the year-end choir trip. I brought 12 sausages and a can of tuna for the lunch get-together while others brought others. It was a sandwich party. ‘Unglam’ as it seems but I enjoyed the thriftily interesting lunch.

After lunching, we (Gladys, Joy, Py and me) set off for Whitesands Popular bookstore at about 2 p.m. to buy some materials for the choir notice board. We walk walk walk from Whitesands shopping centre to West Plaza to Elias Mall. I did not spend much for this whole ‘journey’, only 30¢. I spent it on buying a peanut wafer and sharing it with Gladys and Py. We ‘ni3 yi4 kou3 wo3 yi4 kou3’ finish the wafer: in sequence, kYGladysPy. For Prague!

To Ben Keng: Thanks for the design! You are just so…artsy!

We reached school at about 4.10 p.m. and started with the layout of the new notice board. Left school at about 6 p.m.

To ‘hiao’ Gerald: Everything will be fine! Chill dude!

To ‘hiao’ Py: Thanks for lending a listening ear…oh…or was it I who decided to start talking…hmm…
